Fattening period

CherrySnails farm let the baby snails in the parks, full of white clover and local flora, during late spring/early summer. The fattening process then begins and ends late summer/early autumn, when Helix Aspersa Maxima reach their maximum size and their shells toughen. After that, they are carefully hand-picked and sorted by size and quality. The snails are then left to naturally ‘hibernate’ in a dry, windy place and once that’s done, they’re ready to hit the market!
